Welcome to M.M. University Library, having more than 14 Libraries in its fold. The Libraries of the Campus are Air Conditioned and Computerized. University collection comprising Books, Cd’s, Videos, Thesis, Standards and Back Volumes in all Campus Libraries came to 142500 with 30276 nos. of titles. The University Subscribes to 8267 Journals. More than 1500 seats are available for its users to be accommodated at a time. We have membership of National Networks, such as, INDEST-AICTE CONSORTIUM, INFLIBNET and DELNET, DELNET offered access to more then 11.11 million bibliographic records, 33916 union list of current periodicals, 20235 records of union catalogus of periodicals, 912042 records of periodicals articals and 48621 records of theses and dissertations held by 2134 libararies in india and 22 overseas libraries.

The libraries of the campus

computerized. University

in all campus libraries came
to 142500 lacks with 30276 nos. of titles. The University
subscribes to 8267 national,
international and online journals. More than 1500
seats are available for its users to be accommodated simultaneously.
We use Library Management Package, namely SOUL marketed by the UGC centre- INFLIBNET. Using the Integrated Library Software SOUL, the complete database of
library holding of books & library
membership including students,
faculty, research scholars, and
non teaching staff has been created. The Bar Coded Library Identity Cards have been provided to all categories of
members for borrowing facility. Through OPAC the user can search or know the status of an item/ reading material of his own choice in
library holdings.
The library is also a member of INDEST (Indian National Digital Library in Engineering, Science & Technology) consortium through which e-journals on
science & technology including AIEEE/ IEE, ASME are made available. Lippincott Williams & Wilkins e-collection (Full Text International Journals) is accessible to all the users of
medical science. In all 1007 e-journals are accessible to our users.
We have membership of National Networks, such as, INFLIBNET and DELNET. All the
bibliographical database of these Networks,
comprise of books and back volumes.
The collections of various institutions in India and
overseas are accessible to our users for searching. For instance, DELNET offers access to more than 7.5
million records of books, 25000 Union List of Current Journals, 19289 records of Union Catalogue of Journals 800000 records of Journals Articles and 8029 records of
non-print material held by 1448
libraries in 30 states of India and 6
overseas libraries. Almost a similar kind of data is accessible on INFLIBNET also. MEDLARS is accessible to all users of Medical Science.
SPECIAL COLLECTIONS:
Reference Books: All the
libraries have a good collection of reference
books comprising of dictionaries,
encyclopedias, handbooks, manuals and
directories etc.
Textbook Section: All the
libraries have a Textbook Section, where at least one copy of each textbook is kept for reference. A
book out of this section can be issued for over-night use only.
Videos CD’s: University has a rich collection of Videos, CD’s in the field of Health, Technical & Management.
Career Corner: Books related to various types of competitions, namely, GATE, CAT, SAT,GMAT, GRE, IELTS, NTPC, UPSC, USMLE etc. are available in
campus libraries.
Back Volumes: For research, back files of
journals are very essential which are ample in number in all the
libraries. Back files of Law Journals are a back-bone of any
law library. For instance, Department of Law has AIR Supreme Court (Weekly) from 1950 to 2005 and AIR High Court from 1985 to 2005, which are searchable on computer. Thereafter to-date, they are available in the form of hard copy. Another pride collection among the back volumes is Journal of Prosthodontic Dentistry, which we have right from Vol. I to 100 covering the years 1951 to 2008.

INTER-LIBRARY LOAN
We obtain books on inter-library loan from various institutions in India using the inter-library loan facility of DELNET. All the to and fro postal charges spent for the Inter-Library Loan are borne by the University. Thus the service is totally free to our users.
