M.M.Institute of Nursing was established in 2006 with special focus on girl students. The students of institute are taught by competent faculty, who are enthusiastic and hard working to facilitate the students for acquiring the latest knowledge and skills in the science of patient care.
The purpose of nursing programme is to prepare skilled nurses, who will function as member of health team, for first level position in hospital and community. The programme is well geared up to cater to the health needs of the country, the community and the individuals and it serves as a base for advanced study. Curricular and co-curricular activities are given importance for holistic development of students.

Well equipped class rooms
The institute has independent administrative units and a multistoried academic block, which accommodates various lecture theatres, demonstration-rooms, labs, departmental libraries and well stocked central library. There is also an examination hall for the students.
The institute has a parent hospital in MMIMS&R with 780 beds, fully functional general and specialty clinical departments including emergency/ causality, a blood bank and adopted community health settings in urban and rural areas.
The libraries have rich collection of textbooks, reference books, including Indian and international journals, CD-ROMs and videos. Institution has hostel which meets all comfort and security needs of students.
State of the Art Laboratories:
The most modern and well-equipped labs are available for training of the students in Nutrition, Computers, Nursing Foundation, Child health Nursing, Midwifery and Obstetrical Nursing, community Health Nursing and Audio-Visual aids etc.
